S-Video is an upgraded type of video connection that is available on some converter boxes. S-Video is not to be confused
with high definition. It is still a standard definition signal. In order to take advantage of S-Video, your TV must have
an S-Video input available. Using the S-Video output of a converter box can provide a clearer picture, especially on larger
TVs. It can often result in a "smoother" image with less jagged edges around on-screen graphics and other high contrast
areas.
